We’re not sure what it is—but it seems like the warmth of the sun and the refreshing spring breeze makes us lighthearted and less concerned about the formalities of life. Therefore, when hosting a get-together outside feel free to keep it cool and casual. Opt for light bites before a barbecue or spring for a serve-yourself salad bar with cocktails. On a beautiful day, your friends may prefer to move and mingle rather than stay seated in a formal setting.

Indulge in Flavors of the Season

When the seasons change, the little pleasantries they usher in are beloved by all. In autumn, we fall for apple spice, cinnamon, and cozy sweaters. In spring, a whiff of florals, fresh fruit, and chirping birds let us know it’s time to indulge in the season. Therefore, shower your guests with seasonal delights like watermelon, bouquets of flowers, and lemonade. A bird feeder is a wonderful addition to any space, and will introduce lovely sounds to your soirée. For those imbibing, spring for rosé, margaritas, or mimosas. All of these elements allow you and your guests to live in the moment in the best way possible.
