Giving Out Participation Awards
When we were kids, we were often given participation awards for sports, summer camp, and school activities. We may not have been the best at a certain skill, but we had the enthusiasm and perseverance to give it a shot. Unfortunately, as you get older, participation awards become less and less frequent as life gets more and more competitive. The team over at The Goodwynn at Town: Brookhaven made the participation award cool again by recognizing residents who submitted a video for the LPC Makeover competition. Four residents went home with a $15 gifts card for simply being part of the contest and the community.
