All you will need is soil and drought-tolerant plans. Simply hang the felt planter and stuff the pockets with soil. Then, you will insert plants of your choosing. If you would like to take your garden indoors, try creating an herb wall in your kitchen by lining up wall planters in a convenient place. This way, you can easily reach for fresh herbs when making your favorite meals.

If you’re looking for a more advanced DIY project, this mosaic table endeavor will have you feeling accomplished about your piece. First, you will cut a piece of paper that is the shape of your table. Then, you will shape the pieces in your desired design atop the paper. You can use gems, mirror pieces, or tiles in your design. If you’re using pieces with sharp edges, be sure to take your time and be careful when handling them. After sanding, dusting, and washing the table, then seal the top and lay down your design. After grouting, you will have your stunning finished product.

Outdoor Lighting

There are many simple and creative ways to add outdoor lighting to your patio or balcony setup. One of the easiest projects is turning old mason jars into lanterns. All you will need are jars, an LED flickering tea light candle, and a small glass votive holder. Simply place the light inside the votive and then the votive inside the jar. If you’re feeling creative, you can add colorful stones or sea glass into the jar and watch it illuminate under the light.
