Nestled east of Phoenix is the charming city of Scottsdale. Known as a desert oasis brimming with unique spas, shops, and galleries, residents flock from harsh winters to settle in this sunny haven. Frank Lloyd Wright himself made Scottsdale his permanent home, finding comfort in the climate and vast landscape. Many others followed suit, including those who reside in Lincoln’s The Core Scottsdale.

Whether you’re passing through or laying down roots in this charming hamlet, there is much to look forward to.

Arizona is known for hatch chile spice and south of the border flavor. If you’re craving the cuisine of the region, your first destination should be Spotted Donkey Cantina. Grab an order of the nacho plate and prepare to be amazed by this heaping pile of chips topped with black beans, pulled pork, serrano chile, tomatillo salsa, and a medley of melted cheeses. Then, indulge in Mexican favorites such as chimichangas, fajitas, tacos, and more. Along with tantalizing bites, Spotted Donkey is also known for their large tequila selection and specialty cocktails. If you’re craving a morning meal, make your way over to Butters Pancakes and Café. This breakfast eatery offers an array of options, but is mostly known for their dessert-like pancakes. With options like Oreo Cookie S’mores Cakes and Banana Cream Cakes, you’ll be amazed by these unique griddled confections.
