On October 20-22, Lincoln Property Company hosted its first virtual digital summit, aptly named The LPC Collective. National leadership, regional leadership, and onsite business managers were invited to this summit, and although physically apart, teams were able to come together and attend sessions through Zoom and virtual technology. To further exhibit a “collective” mentality, a Chalk Art competition kicked off the festivities, which included a professional demonstration by a professional local artist, Amber Lee, that was captured LIVE on Instagram Stories on October 20th from Dallas, TX at the LPC-managed community, One Uptown.

About The Team

The event and campaign was primarily coordinated by Regional Marketing Director Allayna Butler and hosted live by senior financial analyst, Nick Sotta. Allayna’s passion for connecting with people and creativity have propelled her to want to focus on successful marketing events and campaigns at her assigned properties. Allayna captured the live zoom footage of the chalk art event and also did a fun Instagram takeover. Our team, which also included marketing team members Morgan Stolle and Dillon Blood, also traveled to several other DFW communities to capture their designs and add to the merriment of the day.

About The Artist

Artist Amber Lee gave everyone many tips on bringing chalk art designs to life. She lives in McKinney, TX, and has a background as a professional art teacher and freelancer in graphic design. In addition to hosting other chalk art events in DFW, she also hosts her own line of custom apparel featuring her unique designs. Find her Instagram here.

Community Collective

LPC Communities across the nation were also challenged to participate and compete with a chalk art design of their own. The overarching theme for the conference was “You Belong Here,” and designs were asked to be a “love letter” to fellow LPC associates, residents and neighbors, or just people everywhere. Although the competition was very steep, first place was awarded to The Lofts at Mockingbird Station in Dallas, second place went to 7 Riverway in Houston, and the third place winner was Alvista Willow Brook in Meriden, Connecticut.
